From Union Station / Greyhound Bus Station

The Circulator Bus is a very inexpensive option to get from Union Station to Duo Housing. The hours of operation are:

• Every Day 7am – 9pm
• Friday & Saturday 9pm – 2am

The Circulator stop at Union Station for this route is located on the bus level of the parking garage, accessible from the mezzanine level of the station.

• Get off The Circulator stop at 12th & K St. Walk TOWARDS 11th Street.
• Turn Left on 11th Street
• Walk approximately 2.5 blocks NORTH. Duo Housing is on your RIGHT

When Circulator Bus is NOT Running

• Enter Union Station and take the RED LINE METRO towards Rockville Metro
• Get OFF at Chinatown / Gallery Place Metro and TRANSFER to the YELLOW LINE METRO towards Ft. Totten
• Get off at Mt. Vernon Sq / 7th St – Convention Center
• Take the YELLOW LINE Metro Train towards FORT TOTTEN

Turn LEFT and walk to North Capital Street then turn RIGHT and walk to Union Station. See directions from Union Station above.

From Baltimore-Washington International Airport

Monday through Friday: Use Mark Train from BWI

MARC Trains provide service to the BWI Marshall Rail Station, where free shuttles serve the airport terminal. Shuttle stops are located on the lower level terminal roadway in between door numbers 1 & 2, 8 & 9, 14 & 15, and 17 & 18. There is a MARC Train ticket office in the airport to purchase tickets. Additionally you may purchase tickets directly on the train ( be aware that this requires an additional surcharge ) Buses stop adjacent to the rail station garage, directly in front of the rail station. The MARC Train will bring you to Union Station in Washington DC. See above for Direction from Union Station.

IF / WHEN MARC Service is NOT an option

Amtrak offers daily service between BWI Airport and Union Station. Tickets may be purchased online at www.amtrak.com, at the Amtrak office at BWI Airport (and Union Station), or onboard the train (for a premium).

Metro now offers BWI Express Metro bus service between BWI and the Greenbelt metro station. The service provides a direct connection between BWI and the Greenbelt Metro Station. The BWI Express/B30 service runs every 40 minutes, 7 days a week to the Greenbelt Metro Station, which is located on the Green Line of the Washington Metro System. Buses run 25 times each weekday and 21 times on Saturdays and Sunday, every 40 minutes.

Catch the BWI Express from BWI Marshall Airport. There are two WMATA Bus Stops. One is located on the lower level of the International Concourse and the other stop is located on the lower level of Concourse A/B. The B30 will pick you up outside at the bus shelter. Follow the signs that say “Public Transit.

From the Greenbelt Metro Station:

• Take the GREEN LINE toward BRANCH AVE
• Get off at the MOUNT VERNON METRO STATION
• Walk down M St TOWARDS 9th St ( this is on the other side of of the big convention center building! )

• Turn Right on 11th Street

Your bed will be ready on the day of your scheduled checkin date by 3pm. You may register at any time, but you may not remain in the hostel until 3pm on the day of your checkin.

On the day of your checkout, you must vacate your bed and the house itself by 11am. We will hold your luggage for you until 3pm, however past that point there is a charge

The majority of guests at Duo Housing are moving through the city via public transportation or the airports. However, for those guests who do have a car / vehicle that they will be traveling with, there are some options available. Duo Housing does not provide nor guarantee parking, however there is a great resource that lists the available local parking options as well as their associated fees
